Maison G De Navarre Young Scientist Prize

This prize is awarded every other year during a Conference year to enable a young cosmetic scientist to attend an IFSCC Conference. As 2018 is a Congress year the next prize will be an invitation to attend the 2019 IFSCC Conference in Milan, Italy (30 September - 2 October) with the cost of travel, accommodation and registration fees up to, but not exceeding, 5000 Swiss Francs, being paid by the IFSCC. Any member of a member society of the IFSCC, normally under 35 years of age, may apply.

Applicants should submit an essay of between 500 and 3,000 words on one of five topics decided on by the Past President of the IFSCC.

Deadline for the next award is 1 July 2019.

Essay topics will be available in spring 2018.

The applicant enters the competition by sending electronically a copy of the essay to the IFSCC Secretariat – – with the information requested on the entry form (copies of which are available from the link below or from local Societies). The essay must be submitted in English accompanied by the details requested on the official entry form which is available from your local Society. A copy of the essay must also be sent to the office of the Member Society to which the applicant belongs.

Applicants must be members of good standing in their Society, which in turn must be current in its Federation subscription. Applicants must submit proof that they are actively employed in a technical capacity in the cosmetic industry or related academia and that they meet the relevant requirements.

Please note that the Award winner must attend the Conference and accept the Prize in person.
